Services
We have a mixture of Free Form, Service of The Word , Healing and Traditional Services. Several times a year we have All Age Services which are a good introduction to services in a relaxed atmosphere if you are looking to come to a service for the first time. Quiet Days
Do come along if you would like to spend a day mostly in silence with your thoughts and with God. Occasional days held at a nearby convent. |
Choir
You are most welcome to join the choir on Friday evenings. Most but not all members choose to sing in church services. Young, old or in between welcome. Bell Ringing
The bell ringers call people to worship and form part of celebrations at weddings and other events. Ringing practice is every Wednesday at 7pm. |
Contemplative Prayer
You are welcome to try this form of silent prayer. A group meet on the fourth Monday of the month at 7.30pm in church (except December) Morning Prayer
A short prayer service at 9am on weekdays (except Wednesday) |
Living Worship Committee

The committee’s present remit includes:
· formulation of parish policies and programmes in relation to prayer, worship and spirituality;
· giving advice on the development of parish policies in relation to the sacraments of baptism, conformation holy communion and holy matrimony;
· management of resources for worship including the development of lay ministries and the procurement of materials, including the production and revision of orders of service and the maintenance and co-ordination of duty rotas;
· promotion of and support for parochial training for ministry;
· encouragement of suitable music for worship, and
· responding from a worship perspective to proposals for the re-ordering of the church.
The committee plans to meet four or five times a year. We would welcome new members to join our discussions. If interested please contact Richard Ogier.
