Refurbishment of All Hallows Church

Phase two of refurbishment is now well underway. Plans have been approved by the appropriate bodies, grants have been secured totalling £16,000 to date. The Friends have raised over £36,000 to date and the Diocesan Chancellor has been assured that we have funds in place to begin work.

The work is currently scheduled for Monday March 2nd 2020.  Work may affect church services, notices will be published to inform of any alterations.

The process of the re-ordering work will continue along these lines:-

  • Phase 1  - The removal of the pews and amendments to the heating system has now been  completed
  • Phase 2  - Plans to develop the choir vestry including an additional toilet, a tea bar and  children's area.
  • Phase 3  - Plans to develop the Worship space.
  • Phase 4 - Plans to extend the office and clergy vestry

We will work throughout the year on developing phase 2 with events to raise funds to support the costs of implementing phase 2 so please do come and support these great events.
We look forward to working with you to create a more flexible, but still very beautiful worship space in this your Parish Church.

Can you help the Friends of All Hallows?

The brilliant events organised and funds raised is all done by volunteers.  If you can spare an hour to help at an event please get in touch with Eleanor.  We've got various roles available, no experience necessary and you'll never be asked to give more than you can.  All help is greatly appreciated so come and get involved and have some fun too!
